Myanmar: We are building a bungalow on our beach in Myeik Archipelago.

If you love undisturbed, tropical nature, this is for you.

Also, if you wish to be among the first to discover this unique archipelago, now is the time. Myeik Archipelago is slowly catching the attention of the world.

While the building was going up, it was nice with a little break on occasion.

Camping on a pristine beach in Myeik Archipelago

Finally, we are building the first bungalow on our pristine beach on Don Island, Myeik Archipelago. If you want to really immerse yourself in this paradise, you should come with us.

Here are two members of Myanmazing’s team on our beach in Myeik. This is from Christmas 2018 when we went with six clients. It was blissful. You should try this as well.

With this new beautiful addition to our beach, we have a nice lounge and deck as well as a more comfortable place to prepare all the delicious food we make from local produce and fresh fish from the ocean. As soon as it is finished, we will send you the final pictures.

We have kept the forest as intact as possible, and we have only planted indigenous tree species that will not unsettle the natural environment.

Our new addition measures 15 feet by 30 feet. We immediately replanted three small trees to compensate for the little part we used of a single tree. As you can see this comes with a deck and view of the beach you see in above picture.

Unlike most other tourists who race through the Archipelago in one day, with us you can really get to unplug. Most of our clients who come to camp, swim, snorkel, jungle trek and gaze at the stars stay with us for four or five nights.

One of our happy clients took a swim with a some locals who visited our remote beach

Since you are far away from electricity, there is no light pollution to disturb the zillions of stars you can see every night. If you get up in the middle of the night, you can see how tiny creatures make the calm waves fluoresce.

This wonderful young man actually managed to put food on the table.

This could be you, and we hope you will give yourself the best setting for enjoying your time when you finally get to go to Myeik Archipelago, Myanmar.

A good friend of Myanmazing made his own hammock from a discarded fishing net. Just because he could.

Recently, our now good friend from France went to our beach alone with a local guide. He had a fantastic time and has told his friends and colleagues to go and have the same experience.

When the tide is out, you can reach areas otherwise largely inaccessible

You should go if you like to camp and be surrounded by nature. If you are comfortable with the sea breeze as your natural air-conditioning, this is also a perfect match for you.

We also have our own small reef with Nemos and many other kinds of marine life

There are endless possibilities. Only your available time and your imagination are the limit.

Life is good

We are currently upgrading our boats and we will soon be back with updated prices. IF you can’t wait, please just get in touch at

All the very best regards from,

The Myanmazing Team
