Hello. I am Kasper Stensgaard and I am from Denmark. In the picture you can also see my wife, Nue Nue, who is from Kachin State, Myanmar. In 2015 we welcomed our first child in Mandalay. Kasper holds a Bachelor degree in sinology and a Masters degree in journalism and has worked extensively with tourism and journalism on several continents, but is now very comfortably stuck in Myanmar. If Kasper is not at the office, he is probably fixing his scrappy Chinese motorbike – again.
Nue Nue is the benevolent dictator of all things administrative at our office. Here, along with our other staff members, she makes sure that our tour groups and individual travellers always get the great service we promise.Above picture was taken at an orphanage east of Mandalay where we donate some of our profit to. Among others, some of them are now learning how to sew on the sewing machines we bought for them.
Ko Htoo Thwin has been with Myanmazing for years, and he is the man overseeing our daily operations. Originally from Magwe, Dane lived at monastic school in Mandalay for eight years until he joined us. Dane is a cornerstone for us, and the longest serving member of our staff. We love you, brother!
La Min has been with us since our inception. She makes sure that contracts and legal documents arrive where they need to. This is an important job as officials here can be really difficult to work with. She also maintains contact with the many hotels and resorts we work with across the country, and she is our go-to girl when some formal matter needs to be solved - very quickly.
Ko Htwe is a brother of the family, and nobody knows the south better than him. Ko Htwe is based in Myeik but spends about half the time in Myeik Archipelago where, at the time of writing, he is supervising construction of a magnificent bamboo house that our clients will enjoy for the first time in October 2019. Ko Htwe is a charming entertainer, a handsome songbird, a knowledgeable capacity and a very hard worker whose dream was always an aquatic life.
